Materials in Manufacturing the Future Seminar Series Organised by LightForm
The LightForm EPSRC Programme grant, in collaboration with The Henry Royce Institute, is running a seminar series showcasing the research at Manufacturing the Future EPSRC funded projects.
Our aims are to increase awareness of ongoing research in these projects, to inspire multidisciplinary collaborations between the grant holders and their institutions, and to introduce the Manufacturing the Future EPSRC funded projects to the wider materials community.
The seminar series began in March, with the first seminar given by Prof Stewart Williams and Dr Jialou Ding presenting research from the New Wire Additive Manufacturing (NEWAM) EPSRC Programme grant centred at Cranfield University, and chaired by Dr Alec Davis. In total, 60 people attended, with two thirds joining online. Attendees were from both academia and industry.
Events will be held in-person at the Royce Hub Building in Manchester, and will also be available to attend online. Please see the list of upcoming talks below. You can sign up to talks here.
