Siân studied materials and manufacturing engineering at Sheffield Hallam University and is now undertaking a PhD as part of the Advanced Metallic Systems CDT. Her project focuses on novel magnesium alloys, controlling the microstructure and researching the effects on mechanical and corrosion performance.
